WEEK 9 / 27.10.2022
This week, Mr Kamal gave us a new project, which is a final project - emotion change animation. We can use the knowledge from previous projects and exercises. We need to look for references as well. Here is my progress.

This week, I tried to look for references. I use tangled movies as my references.

WEEK 13 / 24.11.2022
I'm not satisfied with my result so I want to redo it. First, I record myself and take a screenshot as my reference.

Then I study it and make the basic form.

Next, I make the clean-up version without the flower petals yet. The hair and the grown are needed a lot of work to animate it.

Since in Procreate the animation is not that smooth, I need to export it to Adobe Animate.

This scene is a part of my final project on Film Studies and Cinematography. I export it to Adobe After Effects to see the result and ask for feedback from Mr Kamal.

Only left to revise the nose and draw the petals.


WEEK 14 / 01.12.2022
I revised the nose and colour it as well. After that, I combine everything. Here is my progress.

FEEDBACK

WEEK 13 / 24.11.2022
Can make the surprise and happiness even more. Add the hand gestures to support the 'happiness'.

WEEK 14 / 01.12.2022
(Final Project) Looks good, I like the overlapping. Try to repair a bit on the nose by adding more lines. 
(Film Studies)
- Scene 1: The walking cycle is a bit weird. The guy looks a bit pixelated.
- Scene 2: Try to reduce the vibrant colour of all the scenes to look like scene 2. Try to make a consistent colour.
- Scene 4: You can try to edit it with smoke. At the end of the shot, try to add more or just cut it by editing so it won't look stop at the end, looks something is wrong.

REFLECTION

I have learned many things from this module. I learned how someone's emotions must be supported by their style or body language. If happy, his body language will rise. if sad, his body language will drop, etc. I am grateful to have taken this module. Mr Kamal patiently taught and gave directions to me, not only for the Animation Fundamentals project but also for the Film Studies and Cinematography projects, because they contain animation. I am helped by the feedback that gives me direction or ideas to improve.
