Decide the final project medium, visual effects video or stop motion (animation stream do stop motion), and define the theme and story outline.

Mr Martin told us that as a newbie, maybe try to not change the Blacks and Whites parts, not much also in highlight so the white colour won't too exposure. He said that we could edit the exposure a bit so can be lighter.

1. Stop Motion shooting/editing (3seconds) - 3 hrs, 8am - 11am
    Dir: Sea, 1 shot (3 seconds=3 x 10 frames), Bring laptop for editing
2. Visual Effect shooting/editing - 3 hrs, 11am - 2 pm
    Dir: Henry, Actor: Sky, 3 visual effects shots, Bring a laptop for editing

Since next week we have a public holiday, we will do our shooting exercise next Tuesday (7th June) for stop motion and next Friday (10th June) for visual effects.

Week 12 / 06.13.2022
Mr Martin wanted us to start doing our project (stop motion) within this week. I was planning to do my shooting together with Britney at the campus. We use the Stop Motion app since we don't have a camera. It's really convenient to use that app. Here is my progress.

I edit the video (fig. 3.1) first in Adobe After Effect. I put the spotlight effect and texts.

    Make the storyboard next week so we can know how your story later.
  • Specific Feedback:

REFLECTION

In this module, I learned many things. I learned how to make stop motion. The stop motion project using papercut was my very first experience for me. Quite fun, tiring, and stressful. I also learned about how to use the camera well during practical sessions. Not only that, but I also do many other things through youtube while editing stop motion videos, I learn how to make spotlight effects, captions, edit sound, etc. I am grateful to have picked up this module. Besides that, I am also grateful for the guidance from Mr Martin who gave me feedback.
