PROGRESS
Week 5 / 01.30.2022
This week, we discussed among our members the topic that we will take and it is Phone Cases. We feel that the phone case idea is the best one for the time and tasks. Second, we decided to choose the survey and visual analysis rather than an interview, because it is more flexible in the time, which is Chinese New Year. Here is our discussion for the questions and also the phone case design.

For the Phone case design/ art, we decided on 3 things, Illustration, Typography, and Photography. Here is the survey and there are 53 participants.

Week 4
- General Feedback:
When settling on the idea and finding a way to research the idea, make sure to keep the theme in mind. That is always important. If you have any updated ideas, you can do so on the presentation and update it on your blog for project 1. - Specific feedback:
Since we hadn't settled on a specific idea, Mr Vinod gave up some direction with one he thought was good. he said that we can relay the idea of phone covers with the purpose of the rock and roll culture doing rebellious things.
Week 5
- General Feedback:
Some are very loud, too high, too soft because record separately. Please record it in zoom and please record it in a group. - Specific Feedback:
Demonstrates very good observational and research skills through a collection of various materials, using relevant tools. All documentation of collected materials is written clearly and well organised with good written communication skills. I am happy to see the RQ-RO at the beginning of your presentation, well done there. However, there was no conclusion summing up the knowledge gained and its implications for your group's design output. It should be ideal to restate the RO & RQ along with the theme in the conclusion and indicate how the results/knowledge gained from the data collection exercise might affect the design output.
REFLECTION
Experiences
I have gained experience to have multitasking skills. We are faced with having to start research in a very short time and also have to have a broad and open mind and also have to have a high sense of responsibility towards this group's task in order to reach a solution. We start by choosing the idea that we have prepared and also choose what method we will use.
Observations
In this assignment, it can be said that what we do most often is observe or do research. Because it's about the 70s as well as 80s, we do a lot of research on the internet
Findings
Honestly, it's been a tough week. I find a lot of tasks to do, do a lot of research, and also find the right time with friends in the group. This week there is also a CNY holiday which also takes time to do group work.
