LECTURES
1. Week 6 / 09.27.2021 (Source: Mr Fauzi's Slide)
This lecture is about Poster Design Execution. We need to visualize our idea & concept into sketches, draft the digital poster based on our sketches, develop the composition techniques using Digital Photography & Graphic Design, apply colour, typography, textures & effects, and finalize our design with colour correction. A public service announcement (PSA) is a message in the public interest disseminated without charge, with the objective of raising awareness of, and changing public attitudes and behaviour towards, a social issue.
Once you’ve narrowed down your scope, you can start to do: research about your topic, define your concept, and start to develop your design projects.
a. Research about our topic: (in week 5)

PRACTICAL
1. Week 6 / 09.27.2021 - PROJECT PART 2A
Part 1 - A Man
In this exercise, we need to download the portrait of a man and then we need to recolour it. It is fun to recolour it because Mr Martin explains it very coherently, clearly, and in detail. Here are steps by steps. First, we need to open the image. Second, open the new layer and start to colour the skin, hair, lips, eyeball, and coat one by one and layer by layer with the brush. After that, adjust the layer, change the opacity, and also the hue/ saturation if you want. Here's my capture step by step.

Pay attention to our mental health
- Slogan:
Mental health is important at every stage of life
- Details:
None*
- Call for Action:

We need to create a sketch for each layer (Title, Slogan, Details & Call for Action) and sketch your mockup poster.
Here's the sketch for the Title.

FEEDBACK
Week 6 / 09.27.2021
Mr Fauzi helps me to decide the title, slogan, and call for action to be more precisely. The bold one is helped by Mr Fauzi.
REFLECTION
In this week, I learned how to recolour black and white photos. It was really easy and fun. I used to think that editing photos with Photoshop would be very difficult. I was also a little bit confused how the colour of the lips, but thankfully I made it. Because the explanation from Mr Fauzi and Mr Martin were coherent, clear, and detailed, it made it easier for me to understand.
